The role of bicycle hubs

The bicycle hub is the name of the mountain bike part; it is named after the shape of the musical instrument hub. The hub is a bearing, which is connected to the rim through the car bar to form a complete wheel set. There are two kinds of bicycle hubs, one is the v-brake hub, the other is the disc brake hub; the maintenance of the bicycle hub can be carried out with lubricating oil.

The bicycle hub plays the role of connecting the spokes and the axle, and is a relatively important part on the bicycle. The average speed of the bicycle is directly affected by the quality of the hub. It got its name because it looks like a drum when it stands up as a whole. Bicycle hub, its structure is divided into two types, one is the bearing is a ball gear structure, and the other is the bearing is an industrial bearing assembly.

There are iron hubs and aluminum hubs. Iron hubs are bicycle hubs that are generally used at home. Aluminum hubs are generally higher-end hubs, which are used as mountain bikes, performance vehicles, road bikes and other types of hubs.
